And a good thread it is just about every year the sec beats itself up getting thru the conference schedule. Some conferences can darn near make the schedule not playing a top 25, these SEC games w/100,000 plus people at the games can be brutal course the south can handle this better than weaker parts of the country.

According to the Texas A&M aggies, they are going to take over the west with Jimbo.
Lol

Nobody is taking over the West with Saban still at Alabama. But Jimbo is already making a difference at A&M and recruiting is fantastic. I met Jimbo when he was an assistant and was very impressed with him as a person and felt he would one day make a better head coach than offensive coordinator....he had "it."

Jimbo is recruiting very well, but he won his MNC with somebody else’s recruits. And it looks like he left FSU as a dumpster fire.
It remains to be seen if he can justify that crazy $75 million contract.

Dominance of Bama looking eminent again, but here's a few other who fared at least decent in their bowl games, LSU, Auburn, Texas A&M, with Mississippi State in a pretty good bowl game with the loss to Iowa. Those corn-fed boys sure stepped it up at the end there.

That looks pretty dominant to me, bruh? One conference has won 8 of the 14 BCS title games. Then you have an additional two teams from Florida that might as well be considered SEC teams. That's 10 of 14 games where a team either came from the SEC and/or Florida.
Ah the good old days.

Seems like the SEC hasn't won one in like forever.

There was certainly no doubt as to which was the best team tonight. Pretty much total dominance.

Clemson certainly brought a big can of whoopass.

SEC = overrated recently.

But Saban will be motivated to get back up for next season.
