We are officially one month out from the beginning of college football season.

Pre-season rankings are out.
1. Oklahoma
2. Alabama
3. Oregon
4. LSU
5. Florida State

Most notable week 1 match ups (that I see)
Oregon v. LSU
Boise v. Georgia

Any wild predictions for the ’11 season?

I predict Middle Tennessee State University to win it all.

TCU @ Baylor on Friday should be interesting.

Northwestern will surprise people this year.

MSU wins the SEC West.

Dan Persa has to be one of the strongest QB's in College Football, can't remember his lifts but they were pretty crazy.

Joe Montana's son Nick Montana will end up starting for Steve Sarkisian and the Washington Huskies. Montana will lead the Huskies to a Holiday Bowl win giving Washington it's 2nd straight win in the Holiday Bowl after beating Nebraska last season.

Really? I heard Price is getting most of the reps and Nick really needs this year to develop despite putting on weight. I was fairly impressed with Price when he played against the Ducks. Have you been watching practice or just have a hunch?

Predictions:
1. LSU vs. OU in the NC game-- LSU wins it all

2. Texas wins 9 games in regular season (Loses to OU, OK-St, Missouri)... Texas wins the rivalry game with A&M, stunning aggies everywhere...

3. Boise State runs the table (beats TCU), goes to BCS bowl game

4. Notre Dame is back, baby. Wins 11 games in regular season. Goes to BCS bowl game to the astonishment of many Stanford fans.

Postseason or during the season, A&M announces they are headed to the SEC. Texas announces they are going independent.

Sounds like this might be happening Monday.

SEC holding a special expansion meeting on Sunday.

Emergency Aggie BOR meeting on Monday. (you have to copy and paste)

This could get interesting very quickly as the SEC would be adding one or three more along with aTm. This would spell the end of the Big12. Beebe is saying UH would be a good replacement for aTm. Are you kidding me? Beebe is a jackass.

Bah all this conference crap. I don't care as long as Virginia ends in a stable position.

Anyways, Alabama/LSU will be awesome matchup this year.

I cannot see how Carolina looses the East with Garcia, Lattimore and Jeffrey.

SEC West over East although I am open to surprises.

FSU is an easy pick in the ACC although it'll be interesting to see what Al Golden can do with them Canes (still kinda like Harris as a QB, just gotta clean it up).

Oklahoma in the Big 12 although gotta watchout for Bedlam and TAMU.

Dunno what to tell you about the B1G frankly, hear a lot a stuff about Nebbish.

I'm gonna go with Oregon in the PAC although my heart is with Stanford.

As nice guy as I am, I really don't give a rats patooey about the Big East this year.

Could this be the year that Touchdown Jesus comes back?

Indeed he is.

I hope Texas & OU go to the PAC 12 (better cities to play in), or with the Big 10 - to the chagrin of the Huskers.

The Dinky Dozen (Big 12) has been a dead man crawling for the past year.
