He had Arizona playing well until they ran into a wall at the Holiday Bowl a couple years back. Must have been terribly demoralizing, because they haven't won very much since then.

Actually, UA never recovered after Masoli and the Ducks rolled into Tucson and won in a crazy double OT.
To be honest, Stoops was not a good head coach. He completely lost his head 4 times a game and was out-coached more often than not. His wis were because he had a NFL caliber QB- Nick Foles. All his talk about his defensive capabilities never really saw the light of day in the Pac-10. He is making a good move going back to being a coordinator.
Texas should have another top 5 class. They had the best defense in the conference last year. But was young and inexperienced last year especially against OU, OSU, and BU who all made them look silly. I think the DB's will perform much better against them in 2012 with another year of experience.
Texas loses Robinson, Randall, and Acho. Big players. But Texas recruiting class is loaded with defensive players and the Freshman this year played pretty good in spots replacing them at times. I think the Texas defense (which was 12th in the nation in total D) will be better next season.
Texas will have a great RB corp. But they need better oline play, WR play, and QB play (Obviously). I personally think Ash is better than McCoy. Bigger arm, better mobility, and better leader. Texas lost Thomas Johnson which is a big loss. I hope Texas can get DGB but I think he heads to Arkansas.
Every top program gets caught eventually, you think oregon is going to be any different? LOL.
Please tell me what you know Never. Better yet, I'll tell you and the yahoos who think they know what is going on. You know what the media has spoon fed you (6 months ago). You know what a UT e-rag tried to bring up. You may know how *** hurt UT coaches inferred/claimed we are somehow a dirty program because we dare come into their state and take a few players and heaven forbid actually develop these players (and win with them running the offense) instead of looking at a bunch of recruiting sites and cherry picking the 5 star athletes.
Will we get in trouble? Maybe. But I doubt it will be anymore than a slap on the wrist for overpaying a guy named Willie Lyles too much money, which if you really did know what you were talking about, you would then know we actually did not even break the top 10 in terms of what we spent on recruiting services. There is absolutely nothing known by either you nor the rest on here that points at Oregon being dirty. The fact is, most Oregon supporters are confident we either get off with a warning or a minor slap on the wrist.
What has happened though, is, Oregon made one statement, provided all the info to the NCAA, and have gone about business as usual. Oregon never paid money to any of the athletes and Lyles has repeatedly stated he did not steer athletes to any program, so, what the h*** is the NCAA going to bust U of O for? Having too many uniforms? Besides, the street agent term is only placed on black recruiting analysts and is ******* ridiculous. Lyles is a d-bag without a doubt, but the worse offender of them all is Tom Lemming. That mofo has Notre Dame Golden glasses and has publicly said recruits should go to South Bend, yet no one mentions him as being dirty. Funny...the media not running with that. Shocking
So, that is what you know. Why would you know any more? You're a Sooner fan. The situation doesn't involve your team, so why would you know follow it any more than a casual fan. But, who cares? This was covered 6 months ago. Until the NCAA comes out and makes it official we are in violation, then get off the "they will go down bs." Come on Never, stick to arguing with the SEC minions on here.
