If this happens the ACC is going to get cannibalised.

And they really should expand, at the least to 12. I know a lot of BIG 12 people say they love having 10 members, but I hate it. FSU/Clemson: maybe. Louisville/BYU: more probable. Who knows, but I'd like to see a minimum of 2 more schools added.

Well they seem dead set on ND right now, but as a non-football member. FSU and lville would be nice.

Gotta laugh at the SEC's chutzpah, right after they poached two teams from the Big XII (AKA "Dinky Dozen").

Okay, now just how true this is who knows, but I have read several rumors that Louisville is so desperate to leave the Big East they are willing to pay FSU's ACC exit fees so long as Louisville is paired with FSU as teams #11 & #12 to the Big 12. Part 2 to this rumor is that Louisville has also told the SEC they will forfeit 1/2 of some type of revenue if they can be team 16 in the SEC.

Another "take it with a grain of salt" rumor I read this morning is that VA Tech and the SEC have an agreement if and when the ACC begins to crumble. Furthermore, VA Tech, GA Tech, FSU and Clemson all refused to sign a GOR even after the Orange Bowl/ACC marriage. NCST and MD were hesitant, but did sign.

Again, I relay all this but as rumor only.

Well the ACC is on the verge of collapse. Wouldn't surprise me.

I am rooting for lville to get out of the big E.

no one is going to pay 20 million for a different school to leave. sometimes i wonder if people believe everything they read. its like talking to my brothers kids..when the big 12 takes louisville and byu(or cincy or usf)..will the .001% of people who actually believe they turned down fsu come back and say 'woops i was wrong'? no they will say 'byu has a national following' and 'louisville is a sleeping giant'. its ridiculous and transparent to all big the biggest b12 homers.

and while we are on the subject of GOR, why is it that texas refuses to sign the new GOR? but you keep bragging about GOR (which is nothing more than a fancy name for an exit fee anyway).
i keep reading they have the 13(or whatever) year one now, then i read quotes from their own ad's the next day saying they HOPE to have it signed.
and why isn't the new TV contract signed? the excuse before was 'we are waiting until we poach clemson and fsu'. when that proved to be nonsense, it turned into 'oh we didn't want them anyway but they were sure begging'. then it was 'we have to wait for playoff'. well thats decided.
wheres the tv deal? why isn't it signed?

I incorrectly assumed the big 12 wanted fsu. No excuses I was wrong. Big 12 didn't want them. Everyone knows they wanted out of ACC just some people incorrectly assumed big 12 wanted them.

The big 12 doesn't want any yes right now except ND. If and when they need to expand they will tale the teams that keep football strong and raise revenue the most, be it byu or fsu.
