It will forever go down as one of those questions/dilemmas that cannot be explained with one iota of rational/logical thinking.
Herple had a freshman rb that was tearing it up out there blocking for the fullback. Wtf? Herple is a ****ing idiot as a play caller/ game planner and has no business calling plays at OU. Even Switzer has said the offense has no identity, that's a big ****in slap in the staffs (herples) face being that The King knows them all personally.

Herple has had 4 years to find/ groom a QB for this team and the best we have is a 2nd string runner that can't throw a ball accurate past 10 yards and the staff won't let him run. Herp derp.

I hope Cody Thomas is all he's cracked up to be. The QB job shouldn't be that hard to win next year.

On another note. TCU has played 12 Big12 conference games. Their opponents are 2-10 the following week. Patterson doesn't have the players yet but he certainly lays down the BP on how to win. Dude can coach.

The Sooners will definitely have their hands full this Saturday against Baylor. I hope we are able to pull off a win because it would position us nicely in a BCS Bowl game later this season.

It's a week from this Thursday. I'm with ya though. It would be a great win. OU's only hope is to try to control the clock. That will be a very tall order.

Hey, congrats on your win Sat. night. As I said in another thread, it looks as though the Sooners have another very good season lined up.

Thanks for correcting. I get the dates mixed up sometimes.

Hats off to Mike Stoops. He did all he could defensively to come out and slow the Fighting Baptists down......5-3 OU in the middle of the 2nd Qtr. He did decent until the Sooner offense turned the ball over and his defense, understandably, got gassed and subsequently outmatched by a speedy Baylor crew.

Hats still on to Heupel and the offense. That was ugly. Run the ball at Baylor. If they stop you they stop you, but you keep that clock rolling with Baylor up only a TD or two. At some point in the 3rd quarter Baylor's D is going to get tired and then you have a small window to fight back into the game.

Bell cannot throw....it has nothing to do with arm strength and everything to do with poor/slow decision making. Make him a tight end, bring Cody Thomas in or give Knight another shot....at least he's faster than Bell.

I'd rub it in, but Texas still has to play Baylor in Wacko on Pearl Harbor Day. Those guys are gonna run a Tora Tora Tora on UT.

Not to mention the Mountaineers, Okie Lite, and the Techsters.

But really, I was impressed with the dirt burglar D shutting down that Baptist aerial circus so long before the Sooner Schooner wheels came off.

Hey, if Nike gets its way, all our teams are gonna be wearing black with tiny strips of the school colors on the sleeves.
