A&M and Texas often seem to be on the opposite ends of a compass needle.

A&M won 9 games last year with a pathetic defense. If their defense had just been bad, instead of god-awful, it should have been 11 wins. I hope this season the defense comes close to average. I'd like better, but average would be more than tolerable.

I saw that video on soonersports.com a few days ago and thought it was really neat. Impressive young men.

No one thinks Texas is mighty. Some people sure thought OU was.

I feel confident in saying that if the coaching staff lets Trevor be Trevor (run the ball and improvise with his throws) like he was allowed to today, OU would be in a much different situation right now. This offense is totally different in a positive manner when this young man runs the ball.

The loss of Ford hurt immensely too, during critical games he was needed. I'm guessing we'll see OU continue to ascend assuming that Shep's injury isn't too severe and we get Ford back next week. The Sooners will need all the firepower available against a hungry Fighting Baptist team.

Felt like Norvell (or someone other than Josh) was calling the plays.
