[quote=ScoPro;37385209]The Pflugerville Flash (Perine) had to do something to improve his stats after this game (18-63, 1 tds)
(btw - #31 is a walk-on freshman)
Jason Hall is NOT a walk on. He had a bunch of offers and was an early commit to Nebraska. You are thinking of Dylan Haines.
Hall is quite a player. Maybe the most physical defense back in the conference already.
I see some speculation about Stoops going to Florida and being replaced by Patterson or the ASU coach.
Any possibility of that happening?
Friend of mine near Stillwater says the Sooner Nation is kind of unhappy with Bob.
I found this article on newsok and it made me think of your post. Stoops has been sought after (most likely still is) many many times over the years. Sooners should realize they are very lucky to have him....he's a top 3-5 coach. With the exception of Saban/Meyer no one has accomplished more the last decade or more. Most of us just want him to put more pressure on his coordinators to promote positive change when necessary.
Is Bob Stoops the new Mack Brown? Meaning he's been at Oklahoma too long and is starting to lose his mojo. How long before gooner fans start calling for his head?

Well, OSU proved that anything can happen in a heated rivalry.
Gundy may have saved his job.
Big Game Boob got out coached again. Dominated the whole game and decided to re-kick the football to the fastest kid in college football. Not too savvy. What's even more alarming is how inefficient OU was when Perine got hurt.
It's quite a fitting end to this most disappointing season. I think there are huge questions now about next season. We're probably looking at about the same result next year with all the away games we play.
Also, to answer 14Bricks, if Stoops doesn't win a BigXII championship in the next two years he'll be gone.
As disappointing as this season has been for him and all the pressure he'll have on him next year I could see him entertaining overtures from Michigan.
Looked to be a good day for OU with some good looking recruits. Hopefully all those DB's/Safeties can help out OU's often outclassed defense from this last year and those receivers will help Mayfield/Shepard out with pass game.
I'm most excited about Lincoln Riley calling plays and having Joe Mixon on the field.....oh, and getting Frank Shannon back.
