The talking head "experts" on ESPN had this game as lock for the Sooners. You would think they would eventually figure out prior reputation doesn't always translate to success year in and year out, and why the poll system is a stinking pile of garbage that rewards the same several reputation schools with points for beating one another throughout the year.

Ouch. I am a Houston boy by birth and Sooner by choice. That was a good football team on the otherside of the field and we got outcoached and outplayed. I gladly welcome UH into the BIG XII while it's still solvent.

Ahem....OU is 3-0 against it's last 3 SEC teams. Defeated Bammer in the Sugar Bowl and beat Tennessee back to back.

If you don't have real info about Auburn that is fine, but don't spout off at the mouth about something you know nothing about.

You must be a disgruntled Tejas fan. Bless your lil sweet heart. OU has dominated the Big XII, when Tejas is good and when Tejas is bad, like they are right now. I do think they'll get better with Herman though.

Default Sugary Sweet...

Sooners dominate SEC foe Auburn in the Sugar Bowl.

Sooners end up being the class of the Big XII again (not sure that's saying much, but winning your conference more than all the other teams combined is mighty impressive).

One thing that was clear though, OU was easily up to the challenge of Auburn's physicality. Sooners were the tougher team. Good to see against a non Big XII team.

Was disappointing to see WVU lose to the Canes.

Typical OU with their inexplicable loss. Just carrying on the tradition of no defense in the Big XII.

Knowing OU we'll probably come back and win the Big XII title, but it's not enough.

*sigh* One day OU will be freed from this wretched conference that has made us a soft team.

OU cannot match the intensity they had against Ohio State.

I feel sorry for whoever OU plays the week after they get spanked. And invariably, it's Kansas State. . Sorry Coach Bill Snyder, but OU will be out looking for blood this weekend.
