He's already had his breakout game. He went nuts against Tulsa last year. I'm hoping he is fully recovered from his injury. I think we'll find out tonight. Not having him last year really hurt. Hearing good things about his backup JUCO transfer Damien Williams. Looking forward to seeing him in action. I can't believe Roy Finch isn't even listed on the depth chart! I've always thought he was better than Clay.

OU- 45
UTEP- 6

What else can be said? We'll certainly take the W over the "moral victory" but just......wow.

Don't feel bad - Texas sucked pretty much last night on defense and offense.

Looks like WV will be the team to beat.

The Sooners have ALOT of work to do! The Sooners belong at #15, not #4 after they way they played last night...

Top 15 is a stretch at this point. Losing 4-6 games is definitely possible with way the O-line played last night.

Plus the missed tackles for huge gains. Better backs would have taken a few of those to the house.

The returns on punts were absolutely horrible too. Stoops & Co. have a lot of work to do.

I just don't know what to think. These guys don't seem to have that classic Sooner pride (There's only ONE Oklahoma, etc.); it was a problem last year too when Broyles/Whaley were lost.

We may just be looking at some inferior athletes for the Sooner squad.....there's a high probability of another mediocre season by Sooner standards (9-10 wins....and that may be giving 'em too much credit.)

What do y'all think about the new touchback rule - putting the ball on the 25?

Texas finally gets a kicker who can consistently knock it out of the endzone, now he's told to "pooch" it to the goal line. lol.

Good news: Oklahoma football: Bob Stoops says defensive tackle Casey Walker to rejoin team Monday | NewsOK.com.

A small ray of light/hope in what appears to be a long season ahead of mediocrity by Oklahoma standards.

Is anybody worried about Kansas State? Yeah, Kansas State does not match up well with the Sooners but they are a good and underated team...I am sort of scared playing them in 2 weeks, I just hope the Sooners will come out with a win!
