Looks like Charlie Weis is going to be coaching at the University of Kansas this year. It makes sense Kansas would pick him up, considering they aren't much of a football school, although they have had some very impressive seasons.

Charlie Weis hasn't had much success in the NCAA and I feel like this is almost his last stand. I have a hard time believing anyone is going to want him if he bombs here.

Also, do you guys think he'll be able to do anything? From what I've read he seems to be making a lot of changes and has had quite a few players transfer in. I have always been a Charlie Weis hater, he has coached for my two least favorite teams of all time in college football. But now that he's going to be coaching at my school I suppose I have to at least have some sort of open mind.

Why on earth has this bungler been hired by anyone north of a high school?

Seriously. You are the head coach at Notre Dame. Notre Freaking Dame. National recruiting base with it's own network television deal. And the program went steadily downhill under his command. Hell, even in his 10-2 season there, he was exposed as a coach by the buzzsaw of an LSU team.

About what I was thinking. I never liked the guy, if he does good at my school then good for him but I've always hated him and am quite pissed of that he is a coach at KU now, but all the best to him.
