Yes. It is amazing how much talent is concentrated in the SEC, particularly the West. Despite the stumble, Lord Saban was still able to put together a phenomenal class.

Favorable east opponents. Out of conference is a joke. Rival at home. Bye week before only competitive opponent (LSU). Alabama should be favored to make the championship game.

Lord Saban does a great job at making sure the schedule is cake every year. Starting the year against a credible opponent at a neutral field for the last several years, playing all those easy SEC teams and all...

I hope you aren't insinuating that West Virginia is credible. They went 4-8 (2-7 Big 12 play) and potentially will be even worse this fall.

Western Carolina - FCS who went 2-10 last season
Florida Atlantic - .500 in the new Conference USA.
Southern Miss - bottom FBS

Texas A&M - no Manziel/Evans i.e. new offense - not same team as previous two years
Florida - aweful last year. Driskel still there. Defense the only positive is losing players; Powell/Purifoy/Roberson/Easley all declared early, Watkins/Jacobs graduate. All Starters. Most likely another down season.
Arkansas - 0-8 in SEC Play... real winners right there.
Tennesse - bottom feeder under probation.
Miss St - SEC bottom
Ole Miss - underachievers last year
Auburn - we will see how the new NCAA rule affects them since they run a hurry up offense. 'Lord' Saban is ecstatic.

Again, LSU is the only competitive team on schedule. It is pretty much a cakewalk. They will be favored to make the playoff.

WV is not an FCS cupcake opener that most schools pick for first game.

The Tide has to play SEC schools even when they are in a slump.

Lame argument is still lame.

That rule change hasn't passed yet. In fact, it snuck out of the rules committee. We'll see what happens now that coaches and fans have gotten wind of it.

If you really think that LSU is the only competitive team on Alabama's schedule, then you have zero credibility on this board.

That rule change proposal is the biggest bull**** move I've seen in CFB. The fact that Saban had asked to comment to the rules committee about it makes him look like a huge tool. Any Bama fans agree with the proposed rule change for "player safety." I think it's an embarrassment.

It is an embarrassment. It's a really cynical move. I mean, why not just outlaw the forward pass or quarterback sacks while we're at it?
