Anyone agree? I just don't think a team without one BCS game on their schedule and two 1-aa teams deserves the press that they have gotten.

I dont really know much about Hawaii and I don't think anyone really does. I did see the nationally televised game against San Jose St. They came from behind in the fourth quarter. I think they have an explosive offense....fun to watch. Its hard to tell with teams like that because you never know how good they really are because they dont play high quality teams. They make it to a BCS bowl game and beat someone good it really makes you wonder.

I think that Colt Brennan specifically is overrated. It cracks me up when the media gushes over his 575 yard, 4-TD game, and casually gloss over the fact that he threw the ball 75 freakin' times. He's nothing more than a modern-day Andre Ware as far as I can tell- puts up great numbers because he plays in a pass-happy gimmick offense.

Product of the system...imo Timmy Chang is a ton better than Colt, but then again, as I mentioned, product of the Hawaii system.

Hawaii is overrated, yes. I'd like to see them face a team in the top half of the SEC standings and see how they do...

Yea but when you have a bad day gambling (hypothetically speaking of course) you can always use them as a get even bet when there at home.

I agree totally. They haven't played anyone. Sort of like Kansas. Yeah they're undefeated, but they have had the easiest schedule outside of Hawaii. Oh yeah, and last week was the first time they've had to leave the state for a game! They're in for a rude awakening, methinks.

The sixth Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl will be played in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Dec. 23 (ESPN). Last year, Hawai‘i trailed Arizona State, 10-3, at the half before Colt Brennan threw for five touchdowns and a school-record 559 yards, completing 33-of-42 passes. Jason Rivers tied a school-record with 14 catches for a school and all-time NCAA bowl record 308 yards and two touchdowns. The Warriors won, 41-24.

Guess Arizona State over RATED too...........

ASU wasn't very good last year, this year i don't think Hawaii would stand a chance against them. I was wrong about them not playing a BCS though. They play Washington the last game of the year. (at home again) U-dub isn't very good though. If Hawaii makes a BCS game, i think they will get smashed playing a top 5 team off of the island. Could you imagine Hawaii verse Florida playing a game in Miami or New Orleans.
