SEC dominance summed up pretty well. (holding, teams, conferences, kick)

I wish they'd do a similar comparative mock-up on the Sooners' 47 game win streak....not another college football team that comes close in that regard/particular statline. Those numbers don't lie either.
If it's produced by SEC-centric ESPN, I'm not holding my breath, however.
SEC! SEC! There is also a tremendous sense of pride in the SEC. I know many Bama fans who went to the BBVA compass bowl to cheer on Ole Miss. Last year, there was no question I was cheering for Bama against ND. Hoddy Toddy! Gosh Almighty!

Nothing that happened in the 1950s is relevant to college football today. I think almost nothing older than ten years matters. Teams change. More than ever, conferences change. Budgets change.

You can probably go back more than 10 years but there certainly is a line. A bunch of titles in the 60's or 70's mean little now.

Why? I'm down with conference pride, I guess, but I thought you were supposed to hate your rivals?
Is there something that happened with the advent of the BCS that made that poor taste? A dose of political correctness or something?
Back when Myspace had a CFB forum, there was USCfan openly rooting for Oregonfan to win just to help SOS.
I mean...what?
How about just kick your opponents backside and you don't have to grovel to them to help your own cause?
I'll be honest. I just got into Florida for grad school. If I decide that CFB is still worth following with this news about the Big 64 splitting off to do their own thing, I guarantee you I'm NOT rooting for Bama, LSU...well, maybe Vandy, because nerds that win are fun to watch.
You are right. That new SEC network is going to bring in a ton of money!
