Memo to Sooner fan..... blowing up overrated Longhorn teams annually does not make you great

You are on the verge of losing that greatest team ever title by annually getting blown out by good SEC teams (Texas A&M last yr by 4 touchdowns for example)

Right now it is Alabamas world (although I think A&M gets them again this yr now that Manziel is back)

Oregon Stanford and Ohio State have a shot to beat them too

How does it feel to be the 3rd best team in your own state TU?

Who is big brother? Are you, as a TU fan, referring to Oklahoma? Who is really your dad, granddaddy, uncle and big brother the way they smash you every year

Anyways, dont be mad...... you can enjoy competing with Baylor and Iowa State for 5th place and let grownups like OU, O State, TCU and K State compete for the Big 12

Yeh, and he'd like to take shots at the Sooners too although the Crimson&Cream rolled the Hissies the vast majority of the time when they were in their rightful conference, the Big XII.

GuitarDude is dreaming if he thinks that the Ags will be a legitimate factor in the ESPN Hype Conference (oh, sorry, I mean the SEC) for years to come.....they'll have their good years (once every 5-6 years) and will slide back into mediocrity as usual.

Edit:
I just bet the rest of the SEC is loving the A&M cheerleaders.......ahem, "cheermen."

Lol, aggy has one good year and gets arrogant. The misery is going to be great when they inevitably suck again.

Not all Aggies are like WesternGuitarGuy.

First of all, he used the letters "TU". A real Aggie would not use capital letters. It is "tu". But I don't think that is appropriate for a national message forum. Just like I don't think Aggy is respectable, even when talking smack.

The pressure is on Texas now to reassert itself as a state power, then national power. There is not one credible reason they shouldn't be 10-2 or better every year. There are no excuses for Texas to make that don't end up as whining.

A&M did leave the Big12 at least in part to get out from the shadows of Texas. I have no problem recognizing that. It was a gutsy and risky decision that so far looks like a brilliant move. Texas' also lost sight of how tired other teams have grown of Texas' arrogance in the way the Big12 was run and how money was made. Texas has had a rough couple of years in their big sports (football, basketball, baseball) and some problems in other sports - especially women's sports.

Across all sports, the Big12 fares poorly in the Directors Cup Standings vs. everyone else. In the final standings:

Conf. #T10 #T25
SEC........3.....6
B12........1.....2
Big Ten....2.....5
Pac12......2.....7
ACC........1.....4
