Men's golf was the year before. Texas finished 5th this year. The women most certainly were national champs in volleyball. Very impressive (I watched it).

The best coaches on the 40 acres are:

Eddie Reese: mens swimming
Matt Scoggin: diving (men and women)
John Fields: mens golf
Jerrit Elliott: womens volleyball

The others range from solid (mens tennis) to either unproven or former greats fading away. The worst of the former greats has to be Rick Barnes, the most overpaid coach on the staff.

There is one reason I watch girls' volleyball, and it is not due to their athletic prowess.

Interesting. But seeing that you're most likely a fan of a conference and not your team alone, I shouldn't expect rational assertions.
