Dude got yanked off the bus before they even got back to campus. Man, that's serious.

Good riddance! An unaccomplished, no good, punk is all he is... It's still baffling to me that the Raiders, Vols and Trojans all hired him!

Kiffin is a crappy head coach, but he can definitely recruit. Since he can recruit well, I expect him to land a gig as an OC at a BCS school.

Looks like USC is going to make a run at Kevin Sumlin.

This guy should never have another HC job in the college ranks.

At best, he's a positions coach in college. AT BEST.

Lane Kiffin never should have left Tennessee the way he had. He was not ready for a more high profile job at USC yet. Learn at Tennessee, if you get fired from there fine. Tennessee is on the downturn, so losing wont look that bad. Then go be an OC somewhere and if your team is successful, then try to get another HC job.

I still think the only reason USC hired this clown was to get them through the sanction years, and would cut ties with him as soon as the sanctions were over. After he completely imploded the 2nd half of last season, it was only a matter of time until they cut the cord loose. I agree, he should've been out the door after last season, but I'm glad he stuck around for 3 more games, much more enjoyable now then it would've been in the off-season. Getting off the team plane at 2 in the morning coming back from seeing your top 5 defense get completely torched and embarrassed on national TV and you get fired, hahahahahaha. Couldn't have happened to a better person, either.

This would be great on a lot of levels! But A&M wants some huge buyout money, correct?

Default I wasn't surprised

I'm sure it wasn't a surprise to him. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
