As for Ohio State... it is the eye test. A 10 point win against Iowa and Northwestern vs FSU going 198-20 in the last 3 games including a blowout against a top 10 team.
I'm not a hater. I'm just pointing out that top 10 teams do not have epic bedwettings of the kind Clemson seems to have. I mean, everybody still remembers the complete and total collapse Clemson had at the hands of West Virginia, a beating that made this season's FSU game look close in comparison.

Are you talking about the 2011 Orange Bowl? That was a team that lost by 37 on a neutral field, and they had lost 3 other games that year.
This Clemson team has lost no other games, and got beat at home by that same margin by FSU. How in the heck do you put that loss to WV in the same category as the beatdown by FSU???

Legit top ten teams don't get blown the **** out at home. Clemson is a pretender.

Where would you put them right now, if not in the top 10?

The computers have them 10th, both human polls have them 4th. BCS average is 6th.
To put them 12-15 you have to pick a bunch of 2-loss teams to put ahead of them.
I could see maybe dropping them down a spot or 2 but I can't see putting 10 other teams ahead of them.

Well regardless, they have their shot tomorrow vs SC. I think they may end up with their 2nd loss, which would certainly put them down in the 12-15 range...

At twelve they would have only two 2-loss teams ahead of them one being USCe. They will lose on Saturday and my 12-15 will be spot on. They should probably be even lower.

Huh. Well that shakes things up a bit.

The irony for Ohio State is even after they (barely) took care of business they're probably going to get dropped to 4th.

1: FSU
2: Auburn
3. Alabama
4. OSU
