UCF got national exposure when they had Kevin Smith. Most CFB fans are aware of UCF, they are one of the largest FBS schools in enrollment. If they make it to a major conference watch out. The extra $$$$ is all they need to be a national power. The recruiting would come on its own.

Harrier is another NIU respecter - they are in the top ten of Harrier's rankings.

The Big Canada Conference does not exist - the Mountain West, MAC, and American Conferences do.

You really are literal-minded, aren't you?

But why? The only remotely challenging opponents they've faced so far this year were Iowa and EIU. I appreciate that beating Iowa in Iowa's own house as a then-underdog is an accomplishment. And yes, EIU is probably the toughest team that nobody's heard of (unless you're a Tony Romo fan) and it was an impressive comeback when it looked at first like EIU was gonna steamroll 'em. But every other team they've faced isn't merely mediocre; they're impressively bad. As in, none of their other opponents have won more than 3 games so far this season.

^^ OK so after a rather convincing victory over Ball State, I'm sold on NIU getting a bowl bid. I still think your top ten ranking is a little generous though.

As an EIU alum I really wish we could get a do-over on that NIU-EIU matchup. EIU really should have won that game.

It's almost the end of the 3Q and a 1-8 Temple is beating UCF... please remind me why UCF is even relevant/ranked?

The ending to Georgia/Auburn is why the college game beats the NFL
the NFL has wild endings but nothing beats games on campus

Did you not see JJ Worton? Dang what a catch! This is why they are ranked.

The American Conference is a major conference.
