What is your point?

Ohio State played Buffalo, San Diego State, Cal, and Florida A&M out of state. Florida A&M isn't even an FBS school.

Should Harrier mention the mediocre teams that Ohio State played within the Big 10?

Auburn's one loss came to a solid LSU squad, and yesterday they defeated the then #1 team in the republic.

Harrier is a Buckeye fan, but he is also objective.

They don't measure up against Auburn at this point.

Edit to post above - Harrier meant "out of conference", not out of state.

Auburn played Arkansas St, Western Carolina, and Florida Atlantic out of conference. They had the opportunity to schedule a top school or at least a school from a major conference. But, instead they chose to schedule three patsies. Western Carolina isn't even an FBS school. This is absolutely disgraceful and not only does Auburn not belong anywhere near a national title game, if it were up to me teams that do this would be disqualified from playing in a BCS game.

It would be a screw job of epic proportions if a one loss sec champ got in over an ohio state team that has won 24 games in a row. If ohio state wins they are in.

Unless either Ohio State, or Florida State lose in their conference title games, looks like the SEC streak will be over.

It's going to be interesting seeing all the lobbying Auburn and co. do between now and the bowl selections.

Harrier presumes that you believe that Alabama, Ohio State, and Florida State should be disqualified from playing in BCS bowls since they all played non-FBS teams - Chattanooga, Florida A&M, and Bethmune-Cookman, respectively.

Just who do you think should be qualified to play in a BCS bowl?

If they actually played even DECENT teams I wouldn't have a problem with it. When your second best win is against an 8-4 team out of the MAC, get out of here and enjoy the Rose Bowl!

Only the consecutive streak will be over... the undefeated against non-SEC teams will be in tact.

That may be a good thing since Bama is not going to play FSU... because I don't see anyone else in the country beating FSU.

Go ahead and crown the Seminoles now. Wish the playoff were here now... and not a 4 team. I mean an 8 team playoff.

If only we could fast forward a decade.

The one thing that is not fair is people giving Ohio State grief for Michigan not going for two... yet no one is giving Auburn grief for Saban not calling the hail mary.

The Ohio State vitriol is palpable... I love it! lol...

The whole BCS system was an effort for the largest six conferences to grab all of the money out of NCAA football. Now that they have to live with the system they created, they are all upset.

There should have been a playoff system all along.
