I peeked at this game last night and saw Duke up 38-17. Then Manziel threw a TD and I thought "This lead won't last."

I woke up this morning and discovered that it didn't.

All credit to Duke though. They had a great season.

I was rooting for Duke. Hated to see them give it away to the aggys at the very end.

You mean you hated to see the Aggies (your chosen spelling belongs on a Longhorn board) take the game away.

Duke was impressive. Very well coached team. I listened to the postgame interview with Cutcliffe. I like him a lot.

Manziel was amazing. If only his team had a defense, just an average one, how would the season have turned out?

I think what happened is, Duke came out ready to kick ass while A&M assumed it would be a lay-up win. When the Aggies went into the first half realizing it wouldn't be so easy, they refocused and you saw a much better performance in the 2nd half. Not trying to say Duke isn't a good team, but if A&M had come out with that kind of effort in the first half, we wouldn't be talking about one of the greatest games in college football's recent history; we'd be instead talking about another SEC butt cracking.

A&M defense hasn't been good all year. But Manziel has turned out several such performances.

Manziel was especially fun & amazing to watch on the field, but the sideline "Tebow-like" antics were a bit overdone IMO.
It would've been more entertaining to see A&M matched up with Baylor - no defense at all and a bazillion yards of offense!

That is just Manziel;driven. I guess otherwise you can't do those things he does. I think 100 points doesn't say much for either defense truthfully.

Manziel has a bit of an overdose of personality and emotion. No doubt about that. But his teammates consistently say they love his fire to play and win. So that's OK with me.

I'd say Baylor was a bit exposed. I still don't get the hype over Bryce Petty. He still misses a lot of throws. But an A&M/Baylor game could have finished 63-62.
