Auburn has beaten Alabama by returning a field goal attempt 100 yards for the winning touchdown with no time remaining.

Regulation time appeared to have expired with the game tied at 28 each, but after a lengthy review it was determined that one second was left. The Tide decided to try a 57 yard field goal and....

And being a FSU alum made this much more enjoyable.

Wow. I thought I would be upset. I guess I am more stunned. Alabama deserved to get beat if they get in the red zone like that twice late in the game and cant close the deal. They couldnt have gotten past mizzou or fsu playing like that.

Glad I was watching it....craziest thing I've ever seen, might even rival The Play.....

The crazy thing is if they hadn't gotten that extra second on the clock they had a good shot at winning in OT.

It's the craziest play since Auburn two weeks ago.

The announcer had it right - it was a good strategy to put Davis back there being that Alabama had a bunch of "fat guys" (and no athletes) on the field.

I thought Nick Saban's decision to try a field goal on that last play was extraordinarily stupid, considering Alabama had struggled with its kicking game all game. Alabama should have just tried a Hail Mary pass or settled for overtime in that spot, and I'm not just saying that in hindsight - I was saying Alabama's decision was stupid before the play even occurred due to the possibility of a blocked kick or a missed kick returned for a touchdown.

Love it. The CBS announcers sounded like they were going to die.

So many suddenly "lifelong fans" of Alabama came out of nowhere 4 years ago and became incredibly insufferable soon after. I wonder how many of them are going to jump of the wagon after tonight? lol.

You aren't the only one.

Just like that Saban still only has one undefeated season along with a bunch of other HFBC's. Makes me lol a little bit.

AJ McCaron is still a winner. His kicker may have not split the uprights tonight, but he gets to split something else every once in a while that Brent Musberger would like to have a crack at.

Nick Saban's field goal came back to bite him right in the ass, what a game and way to go Auburn.
