Florida State 24 Stanford 21 -- I know I've touted FSU this year but with any team in any given year, there's always going to be at least two or three teams capable of giving the best team in the nation a dogfight. Few teams are ever so good that they cannot be beaten. I'd pick FSU, but with the disclaimer that Stanford would definitely be among their toughest match-ups, along with Alabama and Auburn. The Cardinal's capable of beating FSU for sure. I'd still pick FSU to win it, though.

Bama would beat Auburn in a rematch - no problem. I don't think it would be easy, but the second time around they would control Auburn's offense, and Alabama's offense would still put up numbers against Auburn's porous defense.

Florida State 24, Stanford 23. Florida State wins in a last-minute field goal.

Auburn 35, Alabama 21. After the first half of the Iron Bowl several weeks earlier, Auburn figured out an offensive scheme against Alabama's D. The trend continues. Continued misfires on special teams hurts Alabama. Saban resigns to take the open coaching vacancy at North Dakota State.

Honestly, as much as this might wound my internet pride, I have to admit it: I'm having second thoughts about FSU. They had a dominant season, and they looked good enough to pass the eye test, but man, the ACC has just looked terrible so far this year. It's up to Clemson to prove that FSU defeated *anyone* worth a flip. The Natty's not the game in which you want your first major step up in competition.

I'm not sure FSU would beat Stanford. Pac 12's looked good this year. I'm changing my mind: Stanford beats FSU. 27-24.

Bama would take care of Auburn - no change of heart there.
