Throughout the season the Vegas rankings have been much more accurate than the BCS. We need a plus-one

You are right. They are consistently correct. Absolute Final Vegas Rankings -
[SIZE=2]Las Vegas Sports Consultants Poll If anyone thinks that this is not the most "correct" poll, then I would like to take you to Vegas for a few months.

The final poll has OU #1 and USC #2.

If you've ever gambled, then you know that these two teams are the best at the current time.

Las Vegas earns money doing this. They are not trying to impress anyone...they just want to make money. They would have the most motivation to be honest on their rankings.

eta: The above statements are not mine. They came from a sports site. Jess

USC - Oklahoma seems to be the game most people want to see. Too bad that's not going to happen because once again the BCS got it wrong.

I'm not going to argue that.

The problem is this; that's the way it is.

So where do you go from there? The BCS follows it's own system the best that it can. So is it an improvement to the pre-BCS? Sometimes, but not always.

So far, the idea of a Plus-1 system seems like it may fix it. Maybe there's a better solution out there. What would it be?

Hardly anybody wants to mess with the integrity (oxy-moron) of the Bowl system. Especially those who gain financially from it. You can't blame them for their motivation, putting yourself in their shoes.

My point is that the BCS can work if teams do what they're supposed to do late in the season. USC and Oklahoma seemed to do that, but the computers wouldn't agree.
