COLUMBIA, S.C. -- Kenny Hill looked more than ready to replace Johnny Manziel on the field. He still is getting used to the attention that goes along with the job.

Hill broke Manziel's single-game passing record with 511 yards, and No. 21 Texas A&M beat No. 9 South Carolina 52-28 on Thursday night, ending the Gamecocks' 18-game home win streak.

A&M looks downright scary - at least after week one.

South Carolina probably looks scary to their fans. They looked awful at home. Hard to imagine that Spurrier did such a poor job getting them ready.

Oh no, Cal is at #34 and 4th in the Pac-12. How can that be? Cal athletes are super intelligent angels of the gridiron. Ocean has some 'splainin to do.

I am not sure that scoring shows that A&M has the most players arrested. Two of them, Darian Claiborne, and Isaiah Golden were repeat offenders, and were dismissed from the team this spring. As they should have been. Gavin Stansbury was also dismissed. Otherwise the offenses are petty.

Do you otherwise have a point about A&M?

LOL two of them were repeat offenders? best excuse I have seen yet-- The question is why did they get the chance to have a 2nd offense.

Do you follow each case individually? Or are you simply assuming every case is the same? What would YOUR rules be for an athlete that is arrested? Does an arrest for marijuana possession automatically result in dismissal?

A&M is my pick to win the natty this year. I think Sumlin will be unveiled as an amazing coach this year. Top tier unveiling.
