Truth. USCe jumps 10 spots but is still ranked lower than Uga. Ole miss. Lol. Ridiculous.

I think this thread is pretty silly. Depending on who people love/hate will help give us a list of just about every team on the top 25. With that being said....OSU definitely overrated and being proven so... :P

In other words, this thread is silly until you participated in it.

Exactly!

A good question for today is does Auburn deserve its #5 ranking after last night's barely win over KSU?

No, it doesn't, because Auburn barely beat lowly KState of the lowly Big 12 Conference, who barely beat lowly Iowa, of the lowly Big 10 Conference.

But no worries. Auburn will start to gain cred as they play in their superior SEC West conference going forward.

More importantly, we play year-in and year-out in a much, much tougher conference. In previous seasons, all you had to do is beat Oklahoma while we're locking horns with Bama, Georgia, TAMU, and LSU, Arky, Ole Miss, and Miss State, every year, while having to deal with the likes of South Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee in off years.

And you couldn't even handle doing that on a consistent basis, despite your embarrassingly low strength of schedule, incredible recruiting grounds, money, and brand name. Begone. Return when you have an actual argument.

Isn't Auburn Alabama's bi*ch? Just like A&M are the longhorns bi*ch. Even when Alabama is down they still own you. Yes the mighty Auburn tiger from the mighty SEC that struggled to beat mediocre Kansas st.(who should have one the game if they had a half way decent kicker, they missed THREE field goals). Lol, didn't Oklahoma just beat the crap out of Tennesse? And didn't they just crush Alabama(the SEC gold standard) last year in the sugar bowl? Go away Sec fan, you're sounding more and more ridiculous with each post. You're conference is overrated, deal with it.

The person that needs to "deal with it" is you. You can pick and choose one game at a time and it will make any team look good or bad. Oklahoma beat Alabama last year. Damn good win for OU. But OU was whipped by an unranked Texas team last year. How did that happen?

Baylor lost to UCF in their bowl game last year. What does that say about the Big12? Probably nothing.

Has anyone said Tennessee is a great team?

I'm not an SEC fan, but I am an observer of the fact that the SEC West is the superior college D-1 football conference.

Auburn beat Kansas State, period. Coulda shoulda woulda. Here, I'll give you this crumb; Kansas State gets the moral victory. If they would have made some field goals, they coulda shoulda woulda won.

But Auburn has work to do. They have some SEC West games to play that will test them and help them improve... before it's all said and done. Auburn is not Bama's anything. They are the sand in their ointment at times. Auburn and Bama won some recent National Championships and Auburn had a sniff last season.

Alabama is 4-0 and 1-0 in conference so far.
Mississippi State is 4-0 and 1-0 in conference so far.
Texas A&M is 4-0 and 1-0 in conference so far.
Auburn is 3-0 and 1-0 in conference so far.
Ole Miss is 3-0 and 1-0 in conference so far.
Arkansas is 3-1 and 0-1 in conference so far because they played another SEC West team.
LSU is 3-1 and 0-1 in conference so far because they played another SEC West team.

Granted the SEC West has some cupcakes early on, but then they get down to business and start playing each other.

I'm sure that the SEC West is the only conference that schedules cupcakes in their schedule so, shame on them I guess.
