Even though I think as a whole the SEC is overrated, Mississipi St looks like the real deal.

They're the real deal because they beat other SEC West teams.

I believe that Florida State belongs in this OVERRATED thread, mainly because I don't appreciate what Jameis Winston is really all about (and because FSU continues to coddle him and cover up his stupidity).

I realize we're not supposed to consider the off-field junk, but I personally can't help it. Winston continues to do it ALL to himself. I'm sure most every team has its own similar embarrassment to deal with.

Okay, rant over, and here's hoping that teams start doing better self-policing!

Lol, don't don't flatter yourself. Like I said they've looked good so far, but maybe that's because they haven't played nobody. LSU looks terrible this year, and A&M doesn't play any defense. So we'll see going forward.

Ok I won't flatter myself. Everybody plays cupcakes early on. LSU and A&M and even the Tide are mediocre this season, which means they will squeak by non-SEC West opponents and lose to the better SEC West opponents.

Honestly, if they played in the SEC west Florida State may finish above Arkansas with the key work being maybe
Yep they barely got by OK State they would of lost to Clemson if the kicker could make a fg and other then that they have beaten some bad teams.

Lol at homer Lou Holtz earlier in the week saying FSU didn't have a chance against ND.

The AP says four out the top five teams are in the same division of one conference.

I think you can add BYU to the list of overrated teams. After starting 4-0 and cracking the Top 25, they've lost 3 straight and aren't even good enough to win the Mountain West (0-2 against the MW after last night).
