No it's not. And it's clear, seeing how this is just the FIRST year and they're already talking about expanding it to 8, which is what it should have been in the first place.

Especially if Baylor and Ohio State win this weekend, just expect to see it go to 8 either next season or the season after.

BCS was not really a play off system at all.

I think 8 is a perfect number for football. Money will talk in the end - if the games do well with ticket sales and more importantly if the TV ratings are high, we may very well see an expansion to 8 teams sooner rather than later.

Speaking if plenty, did I count correctly that there are 36 bowl games, not including the 2 playoff bowls?

Florida State and Baylor aren't exactly thrilled about what came out of the Committee last night! Lots of controversy, and plenty of unhappiness all around.

If Florida state wins Saturday there in no matter what. And even though Baylor's non conference schedule is God awful, I think they should go in over TCU, since they beat them heads up.

TCU getting in over Ohio State AND Baylor is poetic justice, in my eyes...

Is Bylor looks good against a quality Kansas State team, I think Baylor is going to get in.

I really don't get why people are so quick to dismiss Florida State - they're 12-0 and have a very good chance of winning the ACC and improving to 13-0 by beating a good Georgia Tech squad.

I really hope Missouri beats Bama to really throw a wrench into things.

I don't care for the "game control" concept. It's like getting partial credit for a wrong answer or only getting partial credit for an answer that was ultimately right.
