Mariota should win. Much of the season I thought Prescott but he wasn't even invited to the show.

marcus mariota is the odds on favorite to win the heisman this year. he has been too important to the oregon offense to be dismissed.

Great to see Mariota win it. That was one natural heartfelt speech. Damn, got a whole lot of people choked up. Looked over and saw wife super teary eyed...and she just said...that was some REAL ****...love that woman (because you know she is right). Go Ducks!

Big props to Oregon State for posting congrats on their website. God, I miss Oregon. However, I got 3 Go Ducks at the store in Austin, so maybe it isn't so bad.If only the wife liked rain...

the great thing is that all three heisman finalists were scandal free, and were also class acts. as disappointed as the losers were, and you could see it on their faces, they never complained, and they accepted the loss with the grace of a winner.

Kirk Herbstreit got all teary eyed too. OK...put away all the hardware and lets get to destroying FSU.

I agree...take care of FSU; and then move on no the next faceless opponent.

Go Ducks!

Yep, it's incredibly difficult finding respectful young men in sports such as Marcus Mariota. The QB at FSU is way on the other side of the spectrum, as was the previous QB from Texas A&M. They could both learn so much from MM in character alone!

Mariota ain't no saint. 80 mph in a 55 (probably worse but the cops usually round down to save the offender a few bucks).

And THAT was just on foot.

Seriously, I was going 80 in a 65 today...did not even notice until I looked at the gage. Can happen to anyone.
