I think TCU has made their case and put to doubt that they got screwed and should have been there.

TCU has made the case that the playoff needs to be expanded to 8 teams. Also, the Big 12 needs to grab 2 more tams and have a title game - like the SEC, ACC, Big Ten and Pac 12 all have now. I like the fact that every team plays every team and they run a 9 game conference schedule, but you need to have an outright champion.

Probably the most accurate thing that can be said. TCU's had a great run, and so has Baylor, but they really have no better argument than Ohio State or FSU. The ACC's been better than the Big 12 so far in bowls from what I've seen.

That's B.S. The no conference championship was just a B.S. excuse The committee used put in Ohio St. Do you think they would have left Texas out if they had been in the position of TCU or Baylor? **** no! The commettie better hope Ohio st doesn't get destoyed by Alabama or they're going to look even more stupid.

While Texas has more clout and they would have brought more fans and thus sold more tickets, I think they would have been left out if they had gone 11-1 and been co-champs of the Big 12. What will you say if Baylor, who beat TCU, goes out and thumps Michigan State?

Again, all this shows is that the Big 12 needs to have a clear champion and the playoff needs to have 8 teams so every power conference has at least 1 team in. Imagine this year if there weren't a playoff and you have all of these 1 loss teams vying to play Florida State for the title. Say what you want, but if we did not have a playoff this year, it would be Florida State playing in the title game without question.

Indignation is a powerful motivator.
