They need to expand the playoff to at least six teams already. With all those good teams out there, I just knew someone would be left out who is deserving of a spot. Just way too many teams for just four spots.
Big TCU fan, can't stand Baylor, for many reasons, but saw this coming. It's correct, but didn't like one or more sportscasters saying, this is what "the country wanted" big name teams, major fan favorites, in the final four. Also, this is any easy way out for the committee, when having to decide between TCU and/or Baylor discussion.
Also, it just could be Ohio State performed better without their starting quarterback.
What's up with Ohio State jumping in front of either team for the Championships?
Either team could blow away Ohio.
Looks like no college football playoffs for me. I have no interest whatever in those four teams. I can imagine a large part of mid-country and southwest might have a like attitude.
CFB is welcome to all the Florid and Ohio they can get. And a little bit of Oregon.

The committee had to cover its butt on jury rigging the match ups. Most were puzzled when a few weeks ago they dropped FSU to #4. They were trying to ensure a FSU-Bama matchup where it's a car drive for both fan bases to go to the Sugar Bowl. TCU and Oregon for the Rose Bowl. Ohio St threw a wrench in the machine and nobody expected them, as erratic and flaky as there to thump Wisconsin so the only thing left to do is backpedal and either anger half of the nation who will watch Ohio St or tick off the half dozen or so people that like TCU.

Of course either could blow away Ohio. The Bobcats finished 6-6 and play in the MAC.
