OK this is my chance to rant.

What's up with Ohio State jumping in front of either team for the Championships?

Either team could blow away Ohio.

They need to expand the playoff to at least six teams already. With all those good teams out there, I just knew someone would be left out who is deserving of a spot. Just way too many teams for just four spots.

Big TCU fan, can't stand Baylor, for many reasons, but saw this coming. It's correct, but didn't like one or more sportscasters saying, this is what "the country wanted" big name teams, major fan favorites, in the final four. Also, this is any easy way out for the committee, when having to decide between TCU and/or Baylor discussion.

Also, it just could be Ohio State performed better without their starting quarterback.

Looks like no college football playoffs for me. I have no interest whatever in those four teams. I can imagine a large part of mid-country and southwest might have a like attitude.

CFB is welcome to all the Florid and Ohio they can get. And a little bit of Oregon.

Big Baylor fan, can't stand TCU, for many reasons, but saw this coming too. At least they finally got the rankings right with Baylor coming out ahead of TCwho?

Briles and Baylor loaded the OOC with cupcakes. Play a worthless OOC and no championship game and you deserve to be ignored.

To be fair, they did schedule those teams years ago, when Baylor was still a cupcake, looking for wins to get into a bowl. ANY bowl.

The committee had to cover its butt on jury rigging the match ups. Most were puzzled when a few weeks ago they dropped FSU to #4. They were trying to ensure a FSU-Bama matchup where it's a car drive for both fan bases to go to the Sugar Bowl. TCU and Oregon for the Rose Bowl. Ohio St threw a wrench in the machine and nobody expected them, as erratic and flaky as there to thump Wisconsin so the only thing left to do is backpedal and either anger half of the nation who will watch Ohio St or tick off the half dozen or so people that like TCU.

I can't see a Big 12 team ever making it unless they are undefeated. No championship game and too many bye weeks.

Of course either could blow away Ohio. The Bobcats finished 6-6 and play in the MAC.
