Congratulations Bears! For the second year in a row, we are the best football team in the Big 12. And only the second time in Big 12 history that a school has repeated as back-to-back conference champions (OU accomplished the feat in 06-07). Another historic year, going undefeated in the new stadium.. Now the wait until January 1st when we represent the Big 12 in the Cotton Bowl against Michigan State.

Definitely a good year for Baylor and I hope they beat Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl, which would probably become their biggest accomplishment in...probably ever, but at least in many decades.

It was a heck of a game.. We almost beat arguably the number 3 team in the country, and managed to score 41 points on their number one defense. It was a tough ending, but we're clearly improving in our bowl performances so I look forward to next year.

Another reason I look forward to 2015 is this guy.. I somehow missed the news when it first broke but he is sure to be a heck of a QB for Baylor.

How was MSU "arguably the number 3 team in the country?" wen they were ranked 8th (7th by the AP). Briles was arguing Baylor was no worse than #4 (AP agreed).

You lost ugly. You have a good team, but you had a "non-win" (Briles' words) in Texas against a team from Michigan ranked 8th (lower than you).

Baylor is going to have to start learning how to play defense if it wants to take the next step.

Because their only losses were to teams who are now in the championship game..? Arguably the strongest resume in the country outside Oregon and OSU..
How is losing by 1 ugly? I guess the TCU loss to Baylor was more than ugly.

Agreed.. Fortunately our defense has been improving dramatically over the last 3-4 years.

Thats crazy talk. MSU is a good team but not top 6-8.

By the end of the season TCU was better than Baylor. In fact even then, it could easily be said that TCU wins big on a neutral field let alone a home game.

Lmfao.. They were ranked 8 before the bowl games so idk how you can say that..? It's been widely accepted, even by espn analysists that the Big 10 is clearly much better than we thought while the SEC continues to ride the hype train all the way down the drain of mediocrity.

And wasn't that Kansas game TCU barely won towards the end of the season..?

Look. This is the Baylor thread. I'm not trying to get a bunch of TCU homers flooding the place with their rants. We can leave those for the What?? No Baylor or TCU in the Playoffs? Thread.
