Look, I understand that the SEC has been the best conference in college football for the last 10 years. I just got tired of all the arrogance about it, and I never believed that they were head and shoulders above every other conference either. They've been the best, but it hasn't been by as much as proclaimed.
It doesn't really matter what you believe, the facts speak otherwise. So do lame threads with titles like this. Guys like you diminish what OSU and other teams have accomplished this year because you are focused more on some negatives of other teams.
The streak is over, FSU did that last year - but the SEC isn't finished.

Sorry.
I think this season for the SEC is similar to USA Basketball in 2004 and 2006 when we lost to Argentina, Puerto Rico and then Greece.
I'm a BIG fan but I do not understand this "the SEC ain't so great" talk. Give me a break, they have been by far the most dominant conference in the country for years. A few games this winter does nothing to change that.
The question is whether they would've been as dominant had the playoff system been in place the last 10 years. There's plenty of doubt now that they would've been.

Right. Plenty of doubt based on what exactly?
The SEC wasn't playing itself; other teams from other conferences had the chance to beat the SEC, and ended up losing, usually by two touchdowns or more.

Plenty of doubt with who? Jealous fans. Its over and done and in the history books forever. Why does your "doubt" start and end with the SEC? Do you question the victories of other BCS teams not from the SEC? Why not?
