I'm putting my money on Game Day being at Independence Mall or the "Rocky" steps in front of The Philadelphia Museum of Art and the announcement is delayed while they get permits and logistics finalized.

True. Looking forward to their game with Sparty. Could decide who wins the B10 east. Iowa should win the west. Nebbie looks terrible, might not make a bowl game. Bad teams always find ways to lose.

The Big 12 is going to have one hell of a finish this year. TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State all play each other over the last 5 weeks. OK State gets TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma at home. TCU is at Oklahoma, OK State and gets Baylor at home. Oklahoma is at OK State and Baylor and they get TCU at home. Baylor is home to Oklahoma and then at OK State and TCU.

It's too bad Baylor lost Russell. Some have said Notre Dame is still in contention despite losing their starting QB so Baylor should too. However Notre Dame does not have to play the schedule Baylor does down the stretch - 3 games against top 15 opponents.

Notre Dame does play @ Stanford though who very well could be in the top 5 by the time they play.

And now that the top dogs in the Big 12 will finally start to play each other, maybe they all beat each other up, so TCU maybe is like #10, Baylor #15, Oklahoma #16, and OK State #21.

The games are getting better for the majority of teams. Lots happened in TX, OK and other states. How OK State could play so well with the tragic events is beyond me.

I'm not a fair weather fan, I still am proud of my Utah Utes. I think USC would have beaten anyone with their freshmen and others last Sat.

What I don't like are all the injuries! Those who may have thought Utah's D wasn't up to normal, two key starters who have most of the sacks were out. USC seem to score in the third quarter and beyond. The broadcasters failed to mention Hunter Dimik was injured and taken out of the game before the scoring frenzy. The O still has to score. I just hate the injury part of football.

Congrats to the Winners

My Spartans get a well deserved week off. I'll be rooting for Florida to beat Georgia by a touchdown.

Pitt went down. I told y'all they weren't that good.

Holy crap at the Oregon-Arizona State game. 3 overtimes. Wow.

TCU whooped West Virginia. Either TCU's defense has improved a bunch, or West Virginia just plain sucks.
