You were right. Bama plays Michigan St and Clemson plays Oklahoma. Roll Tide!

Ever, I saw you amended this post.. citing the Big Ten's 4th quarter drama. But I actually was digging on the whole game. I'm not in (or from) the Midwest.. but I'm loving the Big Ten this year.
Stingy, skilled defense on the field all night; both teams exchanging body blows. I could hear pads popping the whole game, and these guys were putting people on the ground, as opposed to trying to just strip & tackle the ball. Even in the pros, seems like feeble stripping attempts have displaced fundamental tackling. NFL scoreboards look like arena football scores now.. I thought the defensive battle was entertaining, but that's subjective.

And to your Clemson point, I actually think both Iowa & Michigan St would beat Clemson (I felt like I was watching the national championship last night),.. but out of deference to Clemson's record they deserve a Final 4 spot. peace.

Fair enough. Living in Big Ten/B1G country I hear a lot of B1G bias of how great the conference is. I try to balance it out & cheer for the hated SEC teams.

No need to pick the Army-Navy game IMO, because i think we all know who's going to win that one.

If ngb doesn't do his bowl pick em' this year, I'll do the bowl picks on the 17th.

Greg Schiano joining Ohio State as defensive coordinator

Just in case Meyer has another breakdown he can step in as head coach

Greg Schiano, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach, to be named defensive coordinator of Ohio State Buckeyes

I can't remember the last time Army put a decent team on the field against Navy. It might have been during the time when Jim Young was their coach? Perhaps even more recent? I always pull for Army even though they rarely compete! Go doggies! Go get those water lilies!

Army came close, but came up short.

I wonder if Army will ever beat Navy again...

All right, that's it for this week. Next up, the bowls!

army will beat navy again at some point in the future, perhaps next year since reynolds is a senior, and armys QB carter is a freshman.
