Yeah, because Alabama's the only SEC team to win a National Title right?

Last 25 years SEC has more titles than any other conference.

Sure, Alabama has more by themselves than every other conference except the Big12 (which Bama will tie if they win on the 11th), but even if you take them out of the picture, the SEC is still in first place.

Number of titles last 25 seasons:

SEC = 11 (7 if you take out Bama)
Big12 = 5 (3 come from Nebraska who aren't even in the conference any longer)
ACC = 3 (All from FSU)
B1G = 3
PAC = 3
Big East = 2 (Both from Miami)

Right now Alabama is the only relevant program in the SEC, from a national championship perspective. Sure, other SEC schools can tout their Top 25 ranking and Taxslayer.com bowl victories, but only Bama matters right now. And once Saban retires, it may be back to the Mike Shula era for Bama.

I support two programs -- 1. Arkansas State (my Alma mater, a small Sun Belt program), and 2. Ohio State (my Big Ten loyalty because it's where I was born and spent most of my childhood). While everyone generally enjoys seeing their conference do well in bowl season (as a measuring stick, of sorts), absolutely no one takes it to the extreme fans of SEC schools do. This is not debatable. No one else has a chant like S-E-C, S-E-C. And we all know it's a regional pride thing, and we all know why. And it's quite pathetic.

Yes, we all know why. It is because our conference outperforms the rest. What is the reason you think this is so?

And Stanford would have gotten a worse beating. Our RBs would've had a field day with Stanford. Mich St Is a good team and they would have demolished Standford.
