This has certainly jumped the shark, but this is spot on.

Sounds like tamu needs a good house cleaning to right that ship. Heard talk there could be something that might go down and that is the reason the AD split and went to Houston.

I find Stanford's 2016 schedule unusual. Instead of ending with a Pac-12 team, their last game of 2016 is against Rice.

I'm not complaining, it's just odd.

Stanford and Rice have a lot of similarities. As said above, both have disruptive bands. Also years ago they played each other in the college world series champ. game. It was interesting to see the little bio caption when a player from either school stepped up to the plate. For their major, instead of "physical education" you saw a lot of "mathematics" or "physics" or electrical engineering" and that was for both teams.

All right, It's finally time for this. National championship predictions.

For the FCS Championship, I picked North Dakota State, because no matter how good the other team facing them is, they always win...

Alabama vs. Clemson

And my pick for the 2016 National Championship is...
Alabama vs. Clemson (I really had to put a lot of thought in this pick. Monster running back vs. an awesome QB that can scramble. But Clemson hasn't faced a defense like Alabama's the entire season. I could be wrong on this pick, don't get me wrong, seeing as i also picked Auburn to beat FSU back at the end of the 2013 season. But Florida State was a bona-fide killbot that year. Maybe Clemson will get the ACC to 2 straight over the SEC in national championships. Either way, the game has not been played yet. So i don't know.)

Clemson. Straight up. No explanation needed. No hesitation. No haggling.

This is their time. Their year. Tigers!

View of the Alamo Bowl game from my seat (we have had those option seats every year since the bowl game started)

It's hard to say with Alabama, but I like Clemson as the underdog. Looking forward to seeing this one.

If their defense can stop the big plays they sometimes give up (usually on passes), I think Clemson will win this game. They certainly have the talent. Deshaun Watson is the best QB in the country, Artavis Scott will be a first round draft pick, as will Gallman.

People seem to like to take shots at Dabo Swinney because of his sometimes overly emotional demeanor, but the man is building something special at Clemson. I'd put money on them winning at least 1 NC within the next 5 years, possibly more.

It should be noted that the West Virginia Mountaineers defeated the Clemson Tigers 70-33 at the Orange Bowl not so long ago...sorry, I had to...
