these are close. I hate how Tennessee lost today, that game was given away in the 4th quarter. Watching that 4th quarter was so painful.

This was a bad day for the SEC. How long will we have to hear about those two teams?? The Jax st. thing was an almost, as Auburn did win the game. Arkansas needs to hang their heads in shame tonight. This is remeniscant of the whole Michigan Appalachian state thing. Arkansas might have just trashed their season. I wonder how far they will drop in ranking for this??

I gotta give a shout out to the Temple Owls, who followed up their dominating victory over Penn State with a very good, 34-26 road win over what will likely be a good Cincinnati team.

1) Toledo is in the MAC, a Division I-A/FBS conference. They have finished with winning records each of the last 5 seasons.

2) Jacksonville State (and in 2007, Appalachian State) is in Division I-AA/FCS. Jacksonville State is actually a very good, top 10 team in FCS this year and has been a power at that level in recent years.

3) When exactly has Arkansas been a marquee college football program ala Michigan circa 2007? The Razorbacks weren't ranked in top 10 going into their game with Toledo, unlike Michigan (who was ranked #5) in 2007.

3) Reminiscent is not spelled remeniscant.

This is a football thread not a spelling thread; let it go.

The broader point was that there was a lot of cluelessness in danielj72's post.

Ok, Oregon fan here. Can we just get some real A list coaches, drop this tempo stuff and get some world class Football players. Honestly, it was fun to watch, but with Oregons clout and Phil knights influence, should be able to get some world class athletes in Eugene and maybe actually WIN the Natty. Enough Tempo already, it does not work against smash mouth football defense. I have watched this experiment for 5 years now. If we are never going to win it all with this...time for change.
