Give the award to Leonard Fournette. Best college back since A Pete.

He was benched.

peace.

He definitely should be the consensus front runner, but it is WAAAAY too early to crown him just yet.

Fournette is playing great.
But don't overlook Stanford's McCaffrey. He put together 369 (all purpose) yards last night. Doing it from both the backfield, and returning kicks. /On the year he has close to 500 yards just on kick returns, with half a season left./

I'll admit, my picks have been a bust!

Looks like Ohio State might be better with Barrett back at the helm
Penn State's bad offensive line, early, took Hackenburg out this race
Miss State wasn't the team people thought they would be
The suspension put Bosa out of this one!
Treadwell will probably be the #1 WR in the draft, but is not having the 'Heisman year' as the kid Coleman out of Baylor!

My personal front runners are McCaffrey & Fournette (in that order).
As of Nov 8, Stanford's McCaffrey is leading the country in per game, all-purpose yards (241+ per game). That puts McCaffrey's average, 61 yards per game ahead of Fournette. I believe McCaffrey is the best athlete in college football right now, but have a feeling McCaffrey will unfortunately, & unfairly, will be overlooked @ Heisman time.

For reference, here's the NCAA's list of FBS' all-purpose yardage leaders, up thru Nov. 8th:

It's an individual award, you realize that?

Yeah, Henry has a lot of TDs.. but I was looking @ all-purpose yard leaders over the weekend. McCaffrey's averaging 241+ yards a game, Henry is at 147 yards per game.
Both are killer numbers, but McCaffrey is putting up close to a hundred yards a game more than Alabama's Henry. Personally, I don't believe Henry or Fournette should be ahead of McCaffrey (in Heisman handicapping) as of early November. But we'll see how it plays out.. /peace
