Yes you can argue they are grown men who should be able to make their own wise decisions. Yet there are so many sharks out there waiting in line, and some of these ex players need help in filtering out the bad choices.
Being an ex athlete with a little cash to invest puts a big x on some of their backs-----just wish some of them had a little more help from the nfl in either providing financial advise, or hooking them up with reputable and caring financial counselors.
Actually they do or did have more counseling, both financial and emotional than baseball or they did when our son was playing pro baseball. This was something that bothered those involved in baseball management. I will day that was many years ago.

There was a butt kicking at Falcon Stadiun this afternoon and the Buffaloes provided the butt. CU got stampeded 41-10. Sheesh, it's still damn near 90 degrees at my house and at Falcon Stadium everybody there is bundled up!Temps there were like 45 degrees.

AFA got over 400 yards just rushing the ball.

I am interested in their first game against TCU. In the future, all postings about Deion and the Colorado football team should be parked in the Colorado Buffaloes thread. If one already exists. Coach Prime is done with Jackson State.

No brainer. Done deal Hunter would follow coach Prime but they have been getting some recruits to come to Colorado.

Was expected, so not surprising. Travis idolizes Deion...even to the point he is trying to brand himself. 100k followers to announce your commitment? Ok Deion Jr....

LOL! Yeah, I noticed that as well. Speaking of Deion Jr. The real Deion Jr. is handling all of his father's and, I am guessing, Colorado football social media.

Talk about click bait. He's riding a statue of Ralphie. Oh well. They got me.

CU has a big non-conference schedule this coming fall:

at TCU
vs. Colorado State
vs. Nebraska

Deion can definitely turn heads if he wins 2 of those games, especially if TCU wins the NC tomorrow night.

CSU was 3-9, Nebraska was 4-8. How does that make for a big non-conference schedule?

Deon will get alot of players thru the portal and the Buffs should get better pretty quickly. He has hired some nice assistants which should help with his lack of X and O's. Sanders is not a great coach but he is a great recruiter which is half the battle. He will be able to go in households that a CO coach has not been able to do for 25 years. Lack of talent will no longer be the issue for Colorado.
