Any chance we would ever see conferences like the Big Ten, ACC and SEC move to 10 game conference schedules? Given all 3 have 14 teams now, we now will see big gaps between teams from each division playing each other. Example, Florida will only play LSU once every 4 years.

The Pac 12 has a nice setup - they have 12 teams and play a 9 game conference schedule. This means a team like USC will play Washington every other season instead of once every 4 seasons.

I am not a fan of these 14 team conferences as that's too many and it hurts the traditional match ups in the conferences. I'll never get used to the fact that Maryland and Rutgers are part of the Big Ten.

No,m because the SEC is too tough,, Texas A&M has to play schools like Wellesely College, Texas Women's University and the Missouri School for the Blind, so if they had to play a 10 game schedule against teams that would be beating them, they'd have to move to the Sun Belt or something.
