There's no shortage of openings, that's for sure.

Just saw an Mike and Mike interview with analyst Booger McFarland, on Les Miles's job status.

There are a lot of people who believe that 'college football should be blown up' if Les Miles gets fired!

Dag, nobody is safe in the water!

Hey, whoever gets Les Miles next will have a free-range, grass-fed, sweet-talkin' good ole boy with plenty to say about anything and everything. He's always a great interview, and people can't help but enjoy the guy.

Les Miles problem is he had to follow Saban and has been beat by Saban and Alabama something like 5 times in a row.

Gus Malzahn and Kevin Sumlin's problem is their AD's and fanbases got too excited over fluke games with either once in a generation talent or a lucky play that got them a big win over Alabama so they both got rich and signed up on huge contracts that neither one of them are worth. Now they have no way to live up to either of them because there is no Manziel or Newton/Marshall to bail them out and the horsehoe finally fell out of their ass. Both of these guys are serviceable 8-5 coaches at best in the tough SEC-W. Definitely not worth the multi millions they are getting paid which is why the seat will be hot under each of them next year.

Man, I thought canning Phil Fulmer was bad! And he gave Tennessee a National Chip, and still wasn't liked!

I'm not sure which crowd is harder on coaches...

the "What have you done for me LATELY" crowd...

or the "What have you EVER done for me" crowd?

Both seem to be equally and perennially unhappy.

Still, it is hard to feel sorry for multi-millionaires. They get paid big bucks and if they don't like it, they can always go find a high school gig or Division II school.

I love Les Miles. He is the most entertaining coach out there to me, and I hope he lands somewhere soft if he leaves LSU.

I highly doubt they will can Malzahn, because I don't see them losing to Idaho. Even if they get embarrassed by Bama and lose in whatever bowl they get to.

He will be able to can a couple of coordinators (other than Muschamp) and his hot seat year will be next year.

Les could very easily lose the next two and get canned, which will be a big mistake I think for LSU.
