My God! Georgia almost lost to Georgia Southern! They beat them in overtime. I don't care what anyone says it is time for a coaching change. I almost with they had lost so Richt would look even worse and maybe, just maybe, he would be gone.

The problem is when Georgia has a bad season or two and it looks like Richt will be fired they have one or two good seasons and gets him off the hot seat. He is the definition of an average coach though and if Georgia ever wants to compete for a Championship they should get rid of him. They probably will not and just ride it out until he decides to leave or retires because they are scared they will become horrible if they fire him and they would rather stay average then have a chance to become either great or bad.

we will give you shawn elliot...and we'll through in the rest of our staff too. You can even have Spurrier if you want to convince him to come back.

I chuckle when I hear people moan about coaches getting axed say near a holiday. They're getting paid for the rest of their contract to do nothing, if they so desire.

Goodbye, Scott Shafer!

Some possible replacements......

Al Golden
Greg Schiano
Randy Edsall
Has Doug Marrone learned his lesson as to how he left, ala Bobby Petrino at Louisville?

Word is that Les Miles is out, it is just a matter of time before they formally announce it.

Just a month ago he was at the top of the SEC and thought to have the best team in the conference.

LSU folks should have a long phone call with folks in Nebraska before they make such an announcement.

Apparently LSU HC Les Miles said today at a gridiron luncheon that the game vs Texas A&M will his last.
