Colorado has won a National Championship (1990) and a Big12 title (01) Colorado is down for what reason? I don't know. As a program the last 25 years they are far superior to Utah and it's not even close. Id rather hav BYU in the big 12 then the Utes, and I'd probably take CU over the Utes as well.

Fwiw Colorado leads their rivalry with Utah. Utah is Johnny come lately who had a few good years with a coach they could never keep. Meh. I'll take the Denver metro.

Colorado has been horrible for some reason but should be better. Utah and BYU would've been a natural, I still don't get the PAC 12s aversion to a religious school. BYU has over 30,000 students, sells out their games with an average attendance higher than all but 3 Pac12 schools, has great facilities, and is generally strong in all their sports.

Here's one response for you:

Most of the Pacific Twelve Conference (Pac-12) is on the LEFT coast.

I have nothing against Colorado- they currently have a terrible program, and I don't see them competing in the Pac 12 anytime soon. Army used to be great too, but that means very little at the present time.

For what reason? Oh, I don't know. Maybe it's the duct tape rape, or the recruiting scandals, coach Neuheisel, other various rapes, more rapes, escort services, strippers at recruitment parties, a female kicker who alleged rape, then Coach Barnett kicked her, the kicker, to the curb.

Nice place.

Just wait until next year. Air Force, the Zoomies, from the Mountain West, is gonna throttle the Buffs.

Yeah, they're fine. Utah's finally building back some depth coming up from the MWC and Colorado football is actually looking competitive (five losses by one score this season) and putting some nicer toys up for recruits to get a look at. Colorado let things rot and they have some rather serious institutional issues, but they might fight through that after all.

Both are big state schools with solid academics which fits the PAC's profile.

It was a good win for the Pac 12, but if a win can be bad for Utah it was. It was the flukiest first quarter Ive ever seen. Ive seen teams give away touchdowns before, but not 5! After the first quarter it was 35-0 Utah and they only had something like 60 yards, in fact BYU outgained them even the first quarter. Utah then barely held on...they didnt look good.

Yeah. And i kind of feel bad for Colorado football fans, too. I kinda want Colorado football to become great again.

What are the chances that we will ever see a Colorado-Indiana Rose Bowl?
