Too funny.

I know right.

I mean Bama lost to Ole Miss and Clemson has lost to no one.

Clearly Clemson is the best team college football has ever produced.

I'm a Clemson fan, but let's be realistic - Alabama lost to Ole Miss because they hadn't yet identified who would be quarterback. Coker proved himself in that game, the team rallied behind him, and the rest is history.

Now, let's get on with the NC.

What happened the last time an undefeated ACC met an SEC powerhouse in the Championships?

Same thing happens tonight.

Bama is tough. I can't believe how back and forth this game has been. Usually, when one of these teams gets a lead on this stage like this game here, momentum takes over.

Clemson has got guts. They just keep shoving it right down Bama's throat.

But like was said, that onside kick, and now this first down by Coker, they are pulling out all the stops.

What a game. 2:11 left.

Clemson got hosed just before the half thanks to that corrupt clock keeper. But Dabo shouldn't have panicked and burned his last timeout. Could have spiked the ball and still had plenty of time to throw in the EZ. Clemson was clearly the better team as they were able to score at will. But that brilliant onside kick is what won it for Bama. Nick Satan just outfoxed Dabo.

As a consolation at least Clemson covered.

I think they were down to 7 seconds. I don't fault him for burning the TO. For one, we don't know if Watson was aware the clock was running. He may have assumed that it wasn't. Two, 7 seconds isn't a lot of time to take a shot at the end zone, and if you take a sack it puts you out of FG range. So the best move in that situation was to use the TO and send out the FG unit.
