I think most people who are saying it's going to be a blowout aren't familiar with Clemson.

Alabama is a yearly contender for the championship.. Clemson in the past 30 years has flirted with being close then something has happened.. Normally a loss to Florida State.

I think it's going to be a close game. Clemson's defense seems to generally have problems in the second half, though they certainly didn't against Oklahoma. I'd expect this to be a low scoring game the first half.. Then a wild and crazy 2nd half.

I won't predict who will win, though, with Alabama giving up 7 points, if I were betting.. I'd take Clemson. I just think it's going to be a very close game that could go either way.

I don't know that much about college football. But it seems Alabama fans are predicting an Alabama blowout.

we do expect it but some are more obnoxious about it than others .. I haven't said so but I don't think their quarterback can beat us and it seems that is who must do it ...

I hope we win but I'm giving Clemson respect. They have talent and a great coaching staff . They seem to be just as disciplined as Bama's players are.

Teams that lack discipline ( tOSU and OU) always seem to fall from glory a lot faster than discplined teams are.

Why was the Alabama-Tennessee game so close?

Tennessee vs. Alabama: Score, Highlights and Twitter Reaction | Bleacher Report

It kinda seems like the defensive aspect of the game is a wash.

Unless Alabama's defense is nasty like the 2000 Baltimore Ravens' defense. But this defense was unlike any other with All Time Greats on the roster. The Ravens scored off of interceptions, forced fumbles and field goals.

I didn't know Northwestern was good. I had to look them up.

I just asked why the game was so close. Does Tennessee have a lights out defense? Or is Alabama's offense limited? Or both?
