Sucks for Ole Miss. They were having a good run those past 2 seasons.

Yeah, sucks...to get caught.

I keep waiting for some sort of massive class action lawsuit to be brought against various "football" or "basketball" schools from former players that they graduated reading at a 4th grade level.

Essentially breach of contract and also in most cases they'll bring up civil rights violations given the high % of black players affected.

Maybe I'm wrong but wow...talk about one heckuva dirty laundry airing because it would cascade throughout bigtime college sports.

AP Source: Ole Miss football cited in 13 of 28 violations

Well. It looks like the end of the line for Ole Miss has come. It was kind of cool seeing them be good, though.

If Ole Miss doesn't get punished...I will be done with the NCAA and my respect for them will be lost forever.

Shocked that a university from the Schools Excellent at Cheating conference was up to no good.

Stupid post, probably from a homer from a weaker conference.. Every major conference has had similar violations.

Ole Miss was always a bit suspicious in recent years, because they aren't a traditional power, have never recruited well, didn't have some dramatic leadership change or anything, and yet suddenly were landing Top 5 classes.

They 'll probably have the #1 pick in the draft this year, and 3 of the top 10 or so picks.

They have practically matched Bama in the last couple of years of recruiting, or at least OSU or LSU or FSU, which is odd to be sure. How does Ole Miss get 3 of the 10 best players in the NFL draft, when a few years back they would be lucky to have a single first or second rounder? They are drafting five-star recruits left and right.

True. Kind of hard to recruit well when you go up against Bama, LSU, even Mississippi State has gotten good the past couple of seasons

It was a joke, relax. The conference pride thing among SEC fans is a little over the top. No need to get bent out of shape every time someone says something that is not congratulatory of the SEC.

But you know what? You're right, everyone not in the SEC should bow down to the excellence that is the SEC.

SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! Feel better?
