Here is my take on the Big Ten Conference's realignment:

1) Rename from Big Ten Conference to Big East Conference.

2) U of Maryland & Rutgers U does not belong in the Big Ten Conference due to its power rankings of NCAAF.

3) Notre Dame & Syracuse U should enter into the Big Ten Conference due to its NCAAF history & program.

4) Big East Conference
Penn State
Ohio State
Michigan State
Michigan U
Purdue U
Indiana U
Northwestern U
Illinois U
Wisconsin U
Minnesota U
Iowa U
Nebraska U
Notre Dame
Syracuse U

Default Conference Realignment Article Has Some Wild Predictions

Including some B1G teams in danger of falling to the MAC.

I do think they're on the wish list, but Notre Dame isn't going to the B1G before its 30-year TV deal with NBC expires in 2025.

I'm not sure who the other target should be, but they need to be in a big TV market that the conference doesn't already have. Rutgers brought the NYC TV market to the B1G, so the conference doesn't need Syracuse or any other team from New York.

I think the current Big East Conference may take issue with the name proposal.

A lot of the teams are not even in the East-I like the Big North better.
