The dog abuse took place in June, and just now the player is being disciplined?

Grobe doesn't have a clue how stupid he looks.

Just incredible in the most negative way. Is Fighting Baptist U. trying to get the death penalty? SMU did for much much less.

I'm more shocked at Grobe's lack of cojones - he was obviously told to keep the coaching staff intact in spite of the PH report saying at least one or more assistants were part of the rape cover up, followed by his absolutely stupid statement that from what he could determine, "no other coaches did anything wrong". Then this latest screw up that richly illustrates his lack of character. Guess that $1.25 million Baylor is paying him to toe their denial line is his last chance at a paycheck. What a pathetic little man.

Speaking of BU starters, Ishmael Zamora is still listed as a first-team wide receiver on the final preseason depth chart released by the Bears Monday. Zamora was caught on video beating his dog with a belt and kicking it, and was ultimately charged with misdemeanor animal abuse.
Grobe said he’s still awaiting the university’s decision on what if any punishment Zamora may be facing as a result of the incident.
My gawd, what a dumpster fire to idiots in Waco are immolating themselves with! Either they are totally clueless, or are one of the most corrupted immoral bunch of jerks in the state. It's all about football to them (and the money). They have destroyed their reputation, which was on shaky ground to begin with.

It's hard to believe that college educated people can be so tone deaf and clueless.

It's sickening to watch people abuse defenseless animals. While I dont condone his actions, lets be honest about the situation.. How many people have been hit with belts by their parents as punishment when they were younger..? It happens all the time.. the only reason this has been made such a big deal out of is because its another chance for the media and you guys to try and slander a university/football program over the actions of one individual..
How is it anything like "every other guy that Briles recruited is a criminal"..? A handful of people that Briles recruited have been convicted of crimes.. Briles was the head coach for EIGHT YEARS. Thats like 300 different people who were recruited/played for him. Thats about on par with the ridiculous claim Southern Tiger made trying to say that Baylor has a "team full of rapists".

Oh, and

Joe Mixon. Enough said..

Whats "incredible in the most negative way"..? How is punishing a player "negative", and what does it have to do with SMU and the death penalty?

Uhh.. what? Grobe had the choice to keep the assistants or bring on new assistants.. He choose to keep them because he felt there was no evidence of any wrong doing by them. How has he illustrated his "lack of character"..? Baylor could have Jesus Christ himself as the football coach and you people would still try to ridicule him at every opportunity. Nothing will ever be good enough for some people.. How is his Baylor salary his "last chance at a paycheck"..? Sure, it likely will be his last pay check.. the guy was already in retirement living in a lake house in Georgia with plans to travel the world with his wife. Hardly a "pathetic little man".. he has more integrity than most of you ever will.

Dumpster fire? Idiots? Maybe the BoR, but thats about it. I still fail to see how its "all about football"..? If it was, Art Briles would still be there.. Destroyed their reputation..? Was "on shaky ground to begin with"..? Ha. Ridiculous, much?

Its hard to believe that college educated people can be so ignorant and close minded (assuming any of you are actually college educated).
