Was RB coach for three years under Leach, from 2000-2002. Other position coaches at the time included Sonny Dykes, Dana Holgorsen, Ruffin McNeill, and others.

I don't think we need to bring up what happened to Leach in 2009, for a series of events that appears to pale in comparison.

Are you a Baylor fan?

Yes, he is. Probably a user on the BaylorFans forum as well.

"Lack of involvement"

That's precisely Brile's problem - when the accusations were made by the victims, he apparently did nothing. Neither did the AD, nor Starr. No coach I have ever known & worked with would ignore what their players were doing and fail to act in a responsible manner.

Not to mention the Waco PD trying to keep the series of assaults quiet & hide public documents from view (which is illegal).

From what I've seen quoted from there so far, that site is full of deniers. At least a good number of Bear alumni have the integrity to understand the rot that has overtaken their alma mater's program under Briles' watch and are angered about it undermining the school's core Christian values.

The stupidest nonsense comes from those trying to blame UT for the scandal, but they don't seem to understand that the multiple victims are their own fellow Baylor students. really sad.

Wow!

Had not seen that; that dude (or the kid tweeting for him) is totally out of it.

This.

If the Baylor fan thinks this happens on all campuses, at least to this degree, he's got his head in the sand. I think its too much of a media firestorm now not to see some real justice and sanctions.

That's what I'm guessing. I can't imagine that many reasonable Baylor fans would have the same or similar opinion as TexasTallest. Seems like a kid that's worried about the future of the football still.

What gets me are the Baylor/Briles defenders who are only thinking about how this is going to affect their football program, not about the rape & assault victims and what they have to live with. Geeze.
