I try to include games with ranked teams in them, depending on their opponent. Clemson's opponent this week is a factor in why their game is not on the list. Clemson is going to stomp.(edit)

Louisville vs. Syracuse (The Ville.)
Penn State vs. Pittsburgh (Didn't look that great but they will show up for the in-state bragging rights)
Cincinnati vs. Purdue (Take Due at home)
Wake Forest vs. Duke (Duke is getting things right in football)
Kentucky vs. Florida (The Swamp)
South Carolina vs. Mississippi State (Complete toss up for me)
Arkansas vs. TCU (Arkansas was looking ahead last week)
North Carolina vs. Illinois (Upset, NC after a tough game against Georgia, Illinois has a few athletes)
Iowa State vs. Iowa (Always a good close game until this year...Hawks by 3 TDs)
BYU vs. Utah (Toss up favor the home team here)
Virginia Tech vs. Tennessee (Tenn. comes back with a huge game after a week 1 letdown)
Texas Tech vs. Arizona State (Don't know about each team that well, pure guess)
Washington State vs. Boise State (Hype on Wash St. state this year- too much)
Virginia vs. Oregon (No-Virginia across the country facing an tempo offense in a loud stadium)
Cal vs. San Diego State (Aside from last years Bowl game, SDSU typically beats up on teams with equal or less talent)

I agree on your Mississippi State pick.

After their last week embarrassment, I look for them to come back and play hard and win.

(I also agree on your Cincinnati pick over Purdue )

However, I look for Arkansas to beat TCU .

Last week: 8-6 I believe if I counted right which I probably didn't
Overall: 8-6

Louisville vs. Syracuse. This would actually be a pretty good basketball matchup.
Penn State vs. Pittsburgh. In order to be a rivalry you have to: 1) Play regularly 2) Get some wins at some point. Sorry, it's not a rivalry Pittsburgh, Penn State could care less about you guys.
Cincinnati vs. Purdue. Both teams ate cupcake's last week so who knows.
Wake Forest vs. Duke. A matchup that would've been good on the hardcourt as well 15 years ago, now it's not even a good basketball matchup.
Kentucky vs. Florida. I learned my lesson picking Kentucky!, never again! Also I wasn't even born the last time Kentucky beat Florida in football and I'll be 30 in less than 6 months.
South Carolina vs. Mississippi State. USC had a nice win on the road while Miss State had a terrible loss at home PDP- Post Dak Prescott. Make USC 2-2 on the road in SEC play.
Arkansas vs. TCU. Over looks like a pretty good bet on this time as it looks like TCU STILL can't stop anyone.
North Carolina vs. Illinois. Heels bounce back from the loss.
Iowa State vs. Iowa. Poor Iowa state! If your going to be bad, you may as well be embarrassingly bad like Kansas & Kentucky are and they aren't even the most embarrassing football program in their own conference.
BYU vs. Utah. The most underrated rivalry in conference football?? This should be a mandatory game every year, thankfully the schools picked it back up for a couple season. Now if only Kansas/Missouri & Texas/A&M can do the same.
Virginia Tech vs. Tennessee. So, did Tennessee just have a bad game or are they really severely overranked??
Texas Tech vs. Arizona State. Another game where the over sounds like a good bet.
Washington State vs. Boise State. Another BCS conference team goes onto the smurf turf and comes out and loser
Virginia vs. Oregon. Cross county?? No thanks for me.
Cal vs. San Diego State. Should be a fun late night game for the insomniacs.

In my BIASED opinion, it seems to me that were a few teams which were severely overranked, and others which were severely underranked! What's going on with these pollsters?

That's pretty typical every year.

Notre Dame aside from four years ago is a chronic over ranked team. Oklahoma usually the same.

Houston surprised me. They returned a good portion of their team and came off a huge win over FSU I thought they would 8-10.

Ok...

However, pollsters then overcompensate and overreact and stick a previously unranked Houston in the Top Ten? There needs to be a much better system other than having subjective, emotional, biased pollsters placing teams all over the place in a Top 25. Their "expertise" is questionable -- at best.

And, no, I'm not advocating that we need to return to computers.
